Facts: 135 Acres, 148,000 SF, 6-Building, multi-use Job Corps Center including Administration / Medical Building, Education Building, Cafeteria / Warehouse Facility, Recreation Center, and (2) Dormitories. Wyoming’s first Job Corps Center serves 300 students between the ages of 16 and 24.
Of Interest: Due to the severe climate, this new campus was designed to create a pleasant, internal microclimate for indoor and outdoor study and recreation. As a Federal High Performance Sustainable Building (HPSB), rock from the site and a shared geothermal field were key to maintainability and energy savings.
